According to the study, titled “A Situational Analysis of the Young Child in India”, 52 percent of Delhi’s population resides in urban slums and 66 percent children under the age of six and 69 percent women construction workers in these slums are undernourished. Forces, a voluntary organization working on child care services in India, mentions that Delhi’s slum dwellers have no access to very basic facilities like safe drinking water and sanitation. Study tells that about 57 percent of families from these slums are using open spaces for toilets.
You can also write down the problems of any specific locality to bring it in the notice of Delhi's civic authorities!!!
